Dave Gonyar
- Dave is expanding our business with corporate clients who
are looking for customized apparel, incentive items, and promotional
products. Dave is a former captain of the University of
Maine baseball team and comes to Wight's
after a successful 15 year career as a teacher and coach at Bucksport High
School. He lives in Veazie with his wife, Debbie and three children, Ryan,
Ben and Allison. Golf is his favorite pastime.
Ryan
Soucy
- Ryan began working for Wight's Sporting Goods in August of
2002. Ryan is a native of Brewer and graduated from the University of
Maine and Springfield College. Ryan's sales territory includes downeast and
northern Maine. Ryan, his wife Marcy and son Evan reside in Bangor.
Bill Libby
- Bill is going into his eighth year with Wight's, preceded by fifteen
years of team sales with Goldsmith Sporting Goods in eastern and central
Maine. Bill's expertise falls with the details of building custom uniforms,
for he has had the opportunity to sell almost every uniform line on the
market. Bill and his wife Diane have two daughters. They reside in Orono.
David Paul
- David is going into his fifth year with Wight's with the last three being
in Team Sales. Having taught and coached for 13 years at Orono and Old Town
High Schools the relationships that have been made has made David's
transition to team sales a smooth one. David resides in Glenburn and has
two daughters, Kayla and Darby. Along with his work at Wights he is going
into his 3rd year as an assistant Baseball Coach at Husson College.
Joe Mertzel
- Joe is going into his fifth year with Wight's Sporting Goods, and he
comes with the most experience in athletic sales. Joe's 25 years of road
travel in central and southern Maine provide him with the insight needed
for all areas of equipment and uniform sales. Joe and his wife Sharon, have
three children. Joe resides in Gardiner and his hobbies has been refereeing
football for the last 37 years and umpiring baseball for the last 15 years.
Golf is his favorite pastime.
